Here I am, Maude, a young mother in her thirties...

My dream? To become a midwife! Round bellies and newborns are my hobby!

Due to various circumstances, I had to stop my studies. That's when I did my apprenticeship as a photographer in Châtel-St-Denis, and had the chance to turn my passion into my profession; that was in 2005.

In 2010, a wonderful opportunity opened up for me: to set up my own business! A way for me to manage my 2 main activities: my role as a 100% mom (or even more;) and my job.

So I moved to Bulle, in the canton of Fribourg, and MaudePhoto was born. Exposed beams and a good height allow me to set up a professional studio complete with different backgrounds, a children's corner, an entrance hall... A place that's all "cosy"!

Then on June 5, 2018, MaudePhoto moved after 8 years in Gruyère to settle in Veveyse, in Châtel-St-Denis. In a raw space that had been uninhabited for many years, I built (with the help of many people, of course) my own studio. Nearly 80m2 dedicated to my profession, where after a lot of work, everything was in place. Storage, a large, fully-equipped children's corner, a lounge area... I feel so at home here!

Back to my work ;) I love photographing life's important moments, and I've been lucky enough to meet many people, each more unique than the last.

My specialty? Round bellies, newborns (yes, my dream as a little girl is reflected in my current job) and weddings. It's a way for me to tell a story. The story of a union, as in a wedding, or the story of a little one's first days of life in my NewBorn sessions.

I love photographing people, whether they're children or adults, alone or with others, in natural light outdoors, in your own little world or in my studio.

Capturing a look, a gesture of tenderness, an emotion... To keep only a pure, intimate and personal image.
