axel kirchhoff (St. Gallen)

Born 1968 in Munich, Germany. Grew up in Stuttgart, 1974 Old Greenwich, Connecticut NY, USA, from 1981 in Munich 1983 training as a show dancer, Backstage, Munich 1984 first prints and development in the photo lab - photography 1987 engagements as a backround dancer in div. shows. 1994 move to Toggenburg, Switzerland and apprenticeship as an art smith with Hans Peter Breitler, Unterwasser. 1997 Journeyman in the Kunstschmiede Unterwasser. Works since 2002 as self-taught and freelancer in the field of photography and graphic design. 2004 Industrial welder at CWA, Stadler Rail, Rino Weder AG. 2008 Relocation to St. Gallen. In the Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen Axel works as a construction welder. 2011 Studies HF Photography and Video, School of Design, St. Gallen. Assistant and intern at etoy.CORPORATION, Zurich 2012 Assistant at Johannes Eisenhut, Sennwald. 2014 Founded axel kirchhoff GmbH, studio for photography and video production.

Axel has great experience in the realization of demanding productions. He works conscientiously, precisely and gives, from his experience-rich know-how from the areas of art, industry and international culture, into each project.
