Apochroma Fotografie (Rheinfelden)

The photo studio Apochroma Photography was founded in 2005 by Claus Pfisterer. The word Apochroma originated from the technical terms achromatism, also called achromasia, and apochromat. In summary, apochromats are high-quality lenses that bundle the physically determined dispersion of the visible spectrum and converge it into one point. Or translated a little more freely, apochromatic photography stands for high-quality photography that gets to the point.

Today, Apochroma Photography stands by its precise work more than ever. Nevertheless, the terminology is to be interpreted differently. In today's fast-paced world, it is images that tell emotions and stories in a fraction of a second. The contemporary task of the photographer is to capture the situation with composition, style and instinct and to create a photograph that gets to the point.

To face the complexity of the task and to approach it every day, to move away from it and to approach it again, that is for me the excitement of the profession and the joy of creating something great behind the lens.
