Atelier Delachaux Photographie Sàrl (Lausanne)

Passionate about photography, Luca Delachaux received his diploma in June 2011 at the age of 21. Shortly after, he founded the studio Delachaux Photography. This dedicated to work for construction companies, architects and other clients in the field of architectural photography.

Construction sites are familiar terrain for the photographer, whose various facets Luca Delachaux made his own through photography - following the family tradition, as his father is an architect.

In addition to architecture, technical photography is particularly close to his heart, so he also specialized in the reproduction of works of art. This is a technique that consists in creating a facsimile of a work of art by photographing it under very precise lighting conditions.

In parallel, Luca Delachaux developed a marked preference for analog photography. However, since he could not find a laboratory that met his quality requirements and offered the services he wanted, he set up his own laboratory.

The laboratory expanded and specialized thanks to the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment that met the increasingly specific needs of his clients. FineArt prints for photographers and galleries are now one of the pronounced strengths of Atelier Delachaux Photographie - where art and the mastery of colometry are combined.

In 2016, the studio expanded again and moved to the center of Lausanne. Now, finally, the photographic studio, the chemical laboratory and the digital laboratory could be combined in one place, so that also the clientele can be received more easily and pleasantly.

Since 2017, the studio is one of the companies that train photographers.

In 2020, Atelier Delachaux Photographie was transformed into a limited liability company. The following year, photographer Rui Rodrigues was hired as a part-time lab technician.

Currently, the second apprentice is being trained here, his name is David Domingues.
