Chammartin Christophe (Les Thioleyres)

A freelance Swiss photographer, he divides his time between institutional assignments (Federal Office for Migration, municipalities, Greenpeace, Solar Impulse, etc.), work for the Swiss press (Illustré, Hebdo, Le Temps, Tages Anzeiger, NZZ, etc.) and the international press (Le Monde, Courrier International, Spiegel, etc.), and his personal work. Since 2008, his images have been exhibited at several festivals (Arles, Montpellier, Biel, Pingyao, Zurich, etc.).

In 2001, he joined the Geneva agency Rezo.ch, winner of 4 Worldpress awards. Since then, his work has focused on migration and agricultural issues.

With his work Prisons de Plastique, he won the 34th Talent Reportage grant and the Grand Prix International des Droits de l'Homme. In early 2009, the Prisons de Plastique images entered the collection of the Bibliothèque nationale de France.

In recent years, his photographic work has also been expressed in a poetic way through his intimate experience of nature and the forest.
