Welcome to my site!

At this point a big thank you to all my customers! It is always a pleasure to be able to accompany and capture special moments on life's journey, be it the day of the wedding, photographing a baby bump, children's photos, portrait photography for a job application or shootings at my studio for the loved one or the whole family.

For those who do not know me yet here are some stations on my way to become a photographer:

I grew up as the youngest of seven children in Bazenheid. Thanks to my mother, a photography enthusiast, I came into contact with my future profession at a very young age. In this early phase I was mostly in front of the camera. With my first camera, which I got at the age of ten, I swapped places and snapped my way through the world from then on.

After finishing school, I started my apprenticeship in 1989 as a photo assistant in the Photopraxis in Lichtensteig. During the apprenticeship I learned the whole spectrum of analog photography, from the inner workings of a camera to creating wedding reportages and portrait photographs to working in the darkroom. I experienced the change from analog to digital photography first hand and developed my techniques at the same time.

After my apprenticeship I worked at Fotohaus Prosser in Pfäffikon (ZH) where I learned a lot about portrait and wedding photography. For 3 years I was on the road as a school photographer in the greater area of Eastern Switzerland. At times I was also allowed to work at my former teaching business. In addition to my permanent positions, I worked as a freelance photographer and built up my own studio. I opened my first own business in 2000 at Grabengasse in Lichtensteig, the name "Foto Click" was born.

To reconcile starting a family and my photography profession, I set up my studio next to our then apartment in 2003. With the birth of our second child, we moved to a house on Ebnaterstrasse in Wattwil, where I was able to set up a professional studio again on the first floor.

I recommend myself for wedding reportages, individual shoots and nude photography, family and group portraits, baby and children photos.
