The emotional and personal connection

Taking pictures is not a matter of pointing and pulling the trigger. Pictures are created differently. Exciting pictures, especially in portraiture, are teamwork in the best sense of the word. I empathize with people and make them accomplices in a joint project. I find the "best side" - and put it in the picture.

People feel comfortable with me because I get involved with them. With time and calm. That's why they get involved with me. And that makes the difference in the result: pictures, really good pictures, which give very long pleasure.

People are not numbers

That's why I don't treat them like numbers. And that's why I don't uncharitably reel off a standard program. After all, the pictures should show this one person. Or this one group. Just as individual as people are.

That requires conversations, preparation and time. To find out together where the pictorial journey should go. What is desired, what is possible and where boundaries can perhaps still be blown up a bit. So let's take our time. After all, it's not about anyone, it's about you!
