Fotomiller (Cureglia)

After graduating from high school in Lugano, Switzerland, in 1986, I moved to Milan where I attended the photography department of the European Institute of Design for the duration of three years, after which I graduated as a photographer specializing in advertising.

During my studies a collaboration was born with a Swiss photographer living in Milan that lasted for a total of five years. During this period I have the good fortune to participate in the photographic realization of advertising campaigns of national and sometimes European resonance. This allows me to deepen my professional knowledge quite a lot and to grow considerably both from a formal theoretical point of view and in terms of practical craft knowledge.

In 1993 I moved California where I spent six months at the Brooks Institute of Photography, where I took courses in photojournalism, portraiture and color technology.

In 1994 I return from the United States to start my own business in Switzerland, where I open my photography studio in Lugano.

My professional activity is mainly carried out by making portraits for newspapers and magazines or corporate clients, journalistic reportages of various kinds, studio advertising photographs, as well as industrial or 'architectural photos, as well as reproductions of works of art (paintings and sculptures).

Since September 2001, I have also been teaching photography at CSIA (school center for artistic industries) for about one day a week.
