Jost Guy (Bern)

Guy Jost, born 1965 in Bern, is a photographer specialized in Still Life, Food & Beverage, Campaigns and Corporate Imagery. Before taking over the studio of his father, Beat Jost, in Bern in 1998, he assisted the renowned still life photographer Clive Davis in Frankfurt am Main for four years. Guy Jost regularly works for national and international clients such as Migros, Ricola, Kambly, Post Finance, Bernafon, Ravensburger Spiele, United Grinding and many more.

Guy Jost's work has been honored with various prizes and awards. Together with the Swiss art photographers Balthasar Burkhard he realized the exhibition "Waves" in Dijon in 1995. On his numerous journeys, impressive landscape photographs have been taken over the last few years, which have been shown in Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Bern and in Ticino, among other places.

The education of young photographers is particularly close to Guy Jost's heart. He has been a lecturer at the Hochschule der Künste HKB in Bern since 2003 and is Vice President of the School Board of the Schule für Gestaltung Bern und Biel.
