I am a photographer from Winterthur in Switzerland and specialized in architectural photography. I also travel the world with enthusiasm and enjoy cooking and eating for a living.

After growing up outside of Winterthur, my path led me to architecture as a student. After training as a draftsman, I studied architecture in Winterthur. The fascination of spaces, materials, textures and their interplay has always been part of all my designs. After finishing my studies I worked as an architect for several years. From winning the competition to handing over the keys, I was able to gain all the experience in different offices. What I missed the most in all those years was creativity and so I swapped the pencil for the camera when the right opportunity arose. I can use my fascination for shapes, colors, spaces, materials and textures with the camera as an ideal creative output. Architecture still fascinates me, but today from a different perspective.

Cooking and eating have been my hobbies since I was young. "Let it be photographed quickly before dinner" has become much more over time and food photography in all its aspects has become an integral part of my life.

To compensate, I travel and discover the beautiful corners of our planet and spend time in nature. Whether this is in the region or on my various trips through North and South America, Africa, Asia or Europe, sometimes lasting several months, does not matter to me, beautiful landscapes that I can capture with the camera can be found almost everywhere.
