MIRAGES PHOTOGRAPHY, by Keren Bisaz (Fribourg)

About me Born on the east coast of the United States, I came to Switzerland at the age of 21 to study at the University of Fribourg.

After working for a multi-national company for a few years, I went back to school to study Fine Arts, graphic design and photography in Boston, USA. I graduated in Marketing and Corporate Communications in 2013, and have been a photographer and manager of the MIRAGES PHOTOGRAPHY studio since 2007.

It is with a particular sensitivity to the client's objectives that I collaborate with individuals, businesses and organizations, both local and international, to meet their photographic needs, with a penchant for portrait work, thanks to which many private and public figures have placed their trust in me.

Every person or thing is made up of countless subtle nuances. It's all those shades of grey between black and white that appeal to me and, for me, lend a unique appearance, character and distinction. Depending on the circumstances, people, things and places reveal different versions of themselves. By modulating the light, choosing the technique and building trust and understanding with the subjects, we arrive together at a result that is often surprising, but at the same time confirmed and representative of their real selves.
