In the 1970s (recession), many stores and companies had to close. This was also the case with the employer in Basel at the time, where Josef Röösli worked as a school photographer. The KODAK company then offered the unemployed photographers a loan so that they could start their own business. That was the beginning.

With Helen Röösli as their creative partner with a fine sense for design and graphics, they found a gap in the market that still exists today. For more than 25 years, the wonderfully designed and glued wedding albums were known as pure handicrafts and unique pieces with a time expenditure of more than 40 hours. After that, the digital age began and even then, every customer benefits to this day from a style for his wedding book that is exactly adapted to his taste.

Word-of-mouth propaganda made the photo studio J + H Röösli more and more known and meanwhile the creative couple can celebrate the 35th anniversary. In the meantime, more than 2800 wedding couples can call a lasting souvenir "of the most beautiful day in their lives" their own.
