Peter Schulthess, Photographer SBF In 140 characters: Independent photographer since 2005 with a steadily increasing focus on architectural photography. Technically working with digital medium format.

I developed my first black and white film 38 years ago. Unfortunately, I missed the entrance into a photographer's apprenticeship at that time, which, however, finally spurred me on even more. 1984: first publication, 1986 the first exhibition and a diploma ("shortlisted by the jury") at the Swiss Photography Grand Prix (UBS). This gives courage. 1991: Entry into the advertising industry. Agency-owned photo studio; insight into the work of the big local professionals at a time when the photo industry was still doing really well. Photo projects in industry, tourism, food, architecture, people and landscape. 2005: After 13 years I ventured the step into self-employment. This was followed by my own illustrated books, awards (including shortlist The Selection vfg, 2006), freelance photographer at KEYSTONE Pressedienst, Hamburg and 2009 the admission to the Association of Swiss Professional Photographers and Film Designers SBF. In addition to food photography ("Sarganserland - people, culture and recipes", 2012), which still attracts me as a gourmet, I gradually specialized in architectural photography.
