Tobias R. Dürring (Zürich)

Tobias is a people and portrait photographer, with a focus on advertising and editorial, based in Basel and Zurich. He is a passionate photographer who creates a safe and creative environment while ensuring the right mix of energy and enthusiasm during his shoots. His sensitive eye for people and relationships in different contexts, his empathy and his ability to quickly assess situations allow him to create visually exciting images that are meaningful and unique.

Tobias loves experimental approaches, his long-term clients appreciate him and trust him as a partner and advisor in the creative process. He is also involved in various social and volunteer projects. He also works on his own projects while traveling and portrays situations of everyday life authentically and sometimes even painfully realistic. His images also possess a certain poetic power and beauty.

His photo reportages, portraits and advertising campaigns have won several awards over the last 20 years. His work has also been exhibited in various galleries and museums, such as the Kunsthalle Basel and the Bieler Fototage in Switzerland or the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Mulhouse, France or the Galerie Bunkier Sztuk in Krakow, Poland.
